Information handled by JapanAutoPort

The Site does not currently provide an account system, checkout, payment form or document-upload function. If you email us, the message can include your email address, name and any information you choose to provide.

Do not email passport copies, banking credentials, payment instructions or other sensitive transaction documents. Vehicle business is conducted directly with the selected third party.

Technical information

The hosting and security infrastructure may process standard request information such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, time and security signals to deliver and protect the Site.

JapanAutoPort does not currently state that Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or another third-party behavioral analytics service is active. This policy will be updated before a materially different analytics or advertising-data practice is introduced.

Third-party and referral links

When you open an exporter, manufacturer, government or other external link, that service receives the normal information associated with a web request and applies its own privacy policy. Referral parameters may identify JapanAutoPort as the referring participant.

• Review the exporter’s privacy and payment terms before submitting information.
• Verify payment instructions through the exporter’s official contact route.
• JapanAutoPort never asks you to transfer the vehicle price to JapanAutoPort.

Email use and retention

We use email correspondence to answer the request, investigate a correction and maintain a reasonable business record. You may request deletion of correspondence unless retention is required for security, legal or record-integrity purposes.
