Terms of Use
These terms apply to JapanAutoPort’s public buyer guides, comparisons and planning tools.
Information service—not a vehicle transaction
JapanAutoPort is an independent information and referral website. We are not a dealer, exporter, auction agent, inspector, shipper, customs broker, insurer, lender, payment processor or registration provider.
No Site page creates a sale, agency, inspection, warranty, shipping or advisory contract for a vehicle.
Verify before relying
Content and calculator results are general planning information, not legal, tax, customs, mechanical, financial or safety advice. Inventory, exchange rates, freight, taxes, laws and program terms change.
- Verify the exact chassis, specification, mileage, condition and documents.
- Confirm destination eligibility and charges with official authorities or qualified local professionals.
- Read the exporter’s written quotation, contract and payment instructions.
Calculators and comparisons
Tool outputs depend entirely on the information and assumptions entered. A lower entered total does not establish seller reliability, vehicle quality, import eligibility or the final customs assessment.
External services and referral links
External websites are controlled by their operators. JapanAutoPort is not responsible for third-party inventory, availability, content, privacy, security, contract performance or delivery. Some links can generate a referral benefit as described in the Affiliate & Referral Disclosure.
Intellectual property and fair use
JapanAutoPort’s original text, design and organization may not be reproduced as a competing publication without permission. Vehicle and company names, marks and third-party images remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and commentary.
Changes and availability
We may correct, update or withdraw content and tools. Continued use after a published change means the current terms apply. Service availability is not guaranteed.
